Diploma

What does the IAB diploma consist of?

IAB is a secondary school degree, the completion of which is certified by the IAB diploma. The diploma attests to what extent a given student has developed the IAB Student Profile. Attestation is based on the student’s achievement on various forms of school assessment in grades 10, 11, and 12, and on the IAB exit exam taken upon completion of grade 12. Documentation of various school assessments is done, via the IAB e-platform, using common, standard protocols based on IAB Profiling Schema.

Based on all forms of assessment throughout their secondary schooling, individual students are granted the IAB diploma. The diploma comes with transcripts that show the profile evolution of a student through all three grades, and provide a comprehensive picture of the profile upon graduation.

IAB transcripts are designed so as to easily and objectively track the evolution of the profile of a given student in grades 10, 11, and 12. They come with interpretation rubrics that allow university registrars, or any other concerned official, to readily tell to what extent a student has developed the IAB Student Profile, and thus how well the student is prepared for any particular major.
